Ethical Hacking

Ethical hacking, also known as White Hat Hacking, is the mind set that a trusted individual performs nefarious deeds to imitate the tactics of a real attacker. Ethical Hackers are employed by Businesses and Governments to provide a service that keep their assets secure.

One of the ways to determine if your company is open to an attack is to perform a Penetration Test. A Penetration Test is used to evaluate the security of networks, web applications and security practices. Pen Tests use a verity of tools and techniques that mimic what a real attacker would use. The scope of the test is determined by the company and should be disclosed before any type of testing begins.

The Pen tester can be given a range of information from no information at all, black box testing, to a full disclosure of the system, white box testing.
